My Story
About us
We are taking part in the Vitality London 10,000 in memory of our beautiful little boy, Dylan David Stott, and to raise funds for Spencer Dayman Meningitis Research. This incredible charity is committed to funding life-saving research into meningitis, sepsis, and other related diseases—because research is the only way to prevent more families from experiencing the pain of losing a child.
Dylan's life was heartbreakingly short, but full of meaning, joy, and love. He was a truly special little boy who brought sunshine into our lives every single day. His infectious smile, big brown eyes, cheeky laugh, and love of cuddles made him unforgettable. Whether he was riding donkeys, visiting neighbours, pushing his sister’s pink buggy around the house, or dancing to mobile ringtones—Dylan lived life with pure delight and an open heart.
We are running this 10K not only as a personal challenge, but as a way to honour Dylan’s memory and channel our grief into something positive and powerful. Just as Dylan brought so much joy and energy to our lives, we want to give back by supporting research that could one day eliminate the threat of meningitis and sepsis for good.
By donating, sharing, or simply cheering us on, you’re helping ensure Dylan’s legacy continues—saving lives and sparing other families the heartache we’ve known.
Please support us, and join us in remembering a little boy who truly was one in a million.
