My Story
Hey Everyone,
I am Sophie D and this is my first ever Public Running 🏃♀️ Race in London. Rainbow Trust Children's Charity 10k Vitality 28th September 2025! Rainbow 🌈 Trust Childrens Charity is very close to my Heart ♥️! Alongside my paid Job in Special Needs/Complex Needs. I also work alongside Rainbow Trust CC as well with their care team in London. I support care team in London hospital, Family events and in the Community. Hopefully in the future become a Rainbow 🌈 Family Support worker myself in the Community! I was a Premature baby myself and I found walking and talking hard. I have got my own hidden disabilities and I'm working to get a better understanding of my own needs atm. Whatever you can give is much appreciated however small or big. I'm not running for the money I running for the Babies, Children and young people who have Life Threatening/Life Limiting Conditions. (Also helps with awaiting diagnoses) Rainbow supports the Siblings and families with Practical and Emotional support. (Bereavement End of Life) Please read the below as well and watch the video how Rainbow supports families.
Best wishes

I am so excited to be taking part in Vitality London 10,000 and would love you to support me raising funds for Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity.
Rainbow Trust support families who have a child with a serious or life-threatening illness. With an estimated 86,625 children in England with a life-limiting or life-threatening condition, thousands of families must face the very real possibility that their child may die and struggle to cope on a day-to-day basis. Rainbow Trust Family Support Workers provide a lifeline to these families and children.
Rainbow Trust pairs each family with an expert Family Support Worker who enables them to make the most of time together, giving them practical and emotional support, whenever they need it, for as long as is needed.
Watch Bea’s Story to see the vital difference Rainbow Trust makes to a family’s life, and how your donation can help make a difference:
Donations big and small have the potential to help Rainbow Trust reach more families with a seriously ill child, so please join me in raising vital funds by donating to my page.
